Surrounding Sea
The sea surrounds me, holds me,
challenges me, forgives me.
Softly silent sea, the sound of
the
tide coming in, comforts me.
Rolling motion of the waves, constant
as my heart beat.
This majestic sea enables me to endure
whatever life has to offer me.
For the sea has always represented
my God
to me, the sea is
power and truth, faith, foreverness,
everlasting.
By my side, always, with me, and
for me.
Supporting me, loving me.
Forever changing, and growing, learning,
healing.
Softly silent sea, or turbulent
and crashing,
the sea is my strength,
my God on earth.
